We have had a busy week and weekend... Its Monday morning already!! Chris graduated from his training for the prison and started his new shift Sunday. I did the women's walk with Amy, Julie and Suzanna. We had a good time and I realized just how badly out of shape I am in. It was a good wake up call for me and now I am starting to walk at night with Von. Von LOVES being outside and will like going for walks with his momma.... I am hoping to walk to Settlers park and back, which is a pretty good walk I think! After the women's walk we went to lunch, on the way home Chris has a head cold and hasn't been feeling well, I'm sure its a prison virus!!!! Von is starting to get a runny nose, lets hope for the best. I mowed the lawn for Chris last night (he always does it), it was the 1st time in about 3 or more years that I have mowed the lawn. It was quite the chore doing so with Von, making sure he wasn't in the road or playing with the rose bushes or getting into dog poop, even worse touching the hot lawn mower!! We made it through and he was pretty tired by the end of it. It should be interesting to see what the rest of the week hold for us.

Where do the weekends go!!!! Chris and I are trying to add to our family with no luck. I went to the doctor and long story short they want me to start the fertility process and I am anemic. So we will see what happens. I also had the spider sprayer guy come out and spray our home! You should see all the dead spiders and earwigs...... sick... sick.... sick..... We took Mr T to the park on Saturday. That kid isn't afraid of anything!! Climbs right up the stairs and onto the slide. He sits there and gets a big smile on his face, we starts to slide and then just laugh, laugh, laugh.. It was nice to be outside with my sweet family. We went to Walmart for some groceries... I had my trusty phone with me set to camera. I have a new favorite website called http://www.peopleofwalmart.com/ and I am ready to take my picture of someone special! I had no luck on Sunday, I will try, try again!! We ended our weekend with Dinner at the Trana's. Now back to work... Chris graduates on Thursday from Post Academy. I am very proud of him and nervous!!! I am already stressing... I just don't want anyone to hurt my husband.. damn inmates any ways!

Chris took Von and I to our 1st BSU game last Saturday!! We had a lot of fun! Some friends invited us to their tailgate party, we hung out there before the game. Von did really good for being such a little guy. He had big eyes with all the noise and he wanted to run around. The stands were full so he had to be in our arms. When we go to the game we just happened to have seats next to a friend of mine. She took Von during the game so he could run around. When he came back he was pretty tired!! He fell asleep in my arms and didn't even wake up with the noise and cannon. At half time we went back to the tailgate party and just hung out. Von was running all over the place. He thinks he doesn't need his mommy and daddy around!!

Sunday - we went to art in the park. cute stuff, very expensive!! But Chris did buy me a very cute "skull" yard art piece. I LOVE it!! We had a pretty full day!!

When we got home the neighbor invited Von over to see her bunny. While we were there she gave Von her push car. It is cute and girly!! pink and purple with a princess license plate!!! I'm sure Von could care less...... Chris.. now that's a different story!

Von update

I ended up taking Von to his pediatrician on Tuesday and found that Von had Roseola.

- Roseola is spread through contact with the respiratory secretions of people who are infected (like a cold). The most common senario is that another child who looks healthy plays with your babies and accidentally infects them. Or if an adult had it and sneezed right before handling the babies they might have been exposed. Or if someone who has it is laughing talking or sneezing right near the babies they could be infected.
The babies were probably infected 10 days before they showed signs of illness. And other children are most infectious before they get ill. So its probably another child who was incubating the virus who infected your babies.

Once you have it, you should never get it again. His rash is almost completely gone as of this morning and he was back to his old self of laughing and playing. AND.............. he finally slept through the night last night!!!!!!!!!!!!! yay for us!!!!!

One hell of a weekend!

We had planned a trip to go to WA to see my family.... We that all ended Friday afternoon when daycare called and said Von had a temp (he started on Thursday night, but went down Friday morning) and I had to come get him. His temp was 102.7 and lasted that way until Sunday night some time. I had been in contact with the on call RN through his pediatrician, ahse said if the fever is still there on Monday to go to the Hospital. Monday morning comes and not temp!!!!!! Yah!!!! But now we have a full body rash. Nothing raised or swollen, doesnt itch. We watch it all day and last night decided to give him some Benadryl, which worked wonders for the sleeping!!! Yay.. Chris and I finally got some sleep!! He work up at 5am today and still had a rash. Back to the on call RN, she said go to the doctor. We have a great pediatrician!! We got in at 10:50, Von has Roseola. Its not cotagious and once you have it you dont get it again. It can last for a couple of days, so hopefully it will be gone soon. So much for a 3 day weekend...... But at least we have our happy little baby back

Its been a long time

I haven't updated anything in so long!!! We went to the fair (which I LOVE, LOVE LOVE) and want Von to feel the same way!!! Chris was a trouper and went with us.. We went to the petting zoo and feed the sheep, goats and cows. Von loved it!! It wasn't scared at all.. After we were done with the petting zoo, off to the sinks to scrub our selves down!! Then out came the purell!! Von is a HUGE fan of putting his hands in his mouth... So I wanted to make sure that he was clean. We saw some friends there and hung out with them. Von ate his first ever cotton candy!! At first he had his mouth closed so tight. He thought I was trying to feed him poison!!! I had to force some in his mouth.... after he stopped crying he found that he really liked it!! We at some good fair food and then limped back to the car.

We are finally all moved. It has been a very long emotional and physical job! We have a cute little house now. I don't know how I collected so much crap!!! I have made several trips to the Youth Ranch to donate my "crap". Then have a porch full of "crap " at the old house they are going to pick up and more at the new house!! Going from a large home to a smaller home is a challenge... but it is nice to not have to go all the way across the house in the middle of the night when Von is crying!! I think the dogs are finally settling in.

Chris is LOVING his new job! He is learning pressure points and some take downs. He thinks I am his subject to practice on at night!!!! He is covered in bruises and today he gets pepper sprayed in the face so he knows how to handle it should he be in a situation. He graduates on Sept 24th and then off to the prison he goes.. I am nervous, but I know he will be ok! He is a superhero!!!

We are leaving for WA to see my family tomorrow after work..... ugh..... I hate driving!! :-) well I will be sleeping!! We plan on getting there about 2 in the morning and will leave to come home on Monday morning.
