camping

We went camping this weekend with Jeff and Orion. It was so hot and the mosquito's were out in full force!! I used a bottle of spray and it didn't even faze them! We were right on the river, very pretty. The company was great!! Too bad the mosquito's tried to suck the life out of us!!!! We will try again in a few more weeks.

Fathers day

We went to Horseshoe Bend for a train ride today with the Frazier's. It was nice to get out of the house and forget things. The weather wasn't the best but at least it didn't rain! Von was a good boy of course and he seemed to like it. Orion was fun to watch. He loves the train and says "all aboard" too cute....

Happy Fathers day to the old man! I love you old man. One day at a time.

When mom was visiting last week, Duffy would only sleep in her suitcase.. it was really funny

a bad week

My parent left on Monday to go back to Washington, they called to check on my grandma and found that they needed to go to California. They made it there Tuesday afternoon, my Grandma has been failing in health for awhile now. She passed away Thursday June 18. I am happy she is no longer in pain. Of course it has been very hard on my dad.. Friday night my dad called me to tell me there was more bad news. My mom was sitting on the back porch with Duffy on her lap. Duffy heard a noise and ran to it. It was a coyote and unfortunately Duffy was lost. I do not know how much more my poor family can take! I wish I was with them, it is shocking to think of what has happened. I am unable to wrap my mind around losing poor Duffy Dog. I love my parents very much and I just want them home safe.

2nd week of swim lessons

Well we were all excited for swim lessons. We get there and tell the girl we are just here for swim lessons. She tells us, well the pool is closed because a kid went to the bathroom in it! She said the pool wont be open all night. We go in to talk to the instructor and poor Von is looking at the pool and getting all excited. We had to tell him someone took a poo in the pool and now his pool date is over. We were not to happy, so we went home and hoped into the hot tub for some private swim lessons.

Hello.... that is why there is swim diapers!!!! dumb people..

growing up

He walks!!!!!!!!!!! I get home from work and Chris informs me that Von is walking all by him self.... no holding onto anything... no 2-3 steps at a time. We are talking all the way across the room. So I wonder how long he has been doing this and I am just finding out! I am guessing just today... but I am very sad. He is growing up and I want him to still be my little baby. Later he fell and got hurt and he needed his mommy!!!!!!! Sad he got hurt.. but ya for me... he still needs me! I love him more than words..

My parents are on their way to Idaho for a couple of days. I am excited to see them and they will be excited to see Von walking..

Swim lessons

We had our 2nd mommy and me swim lesson tonight! He is such a little fish.... he does so good on his back, he likes to dunk his head in the water and LOVES to jump off the side the pool into the water. 2 classes down 4 to go!! He is a little baby rock star!

1st swim lesson

We had our 1st Mommy and Me swim lesson tonight. Von missed his last nap so he was kind of tired, but he still did great! His favorite part of the lesson was jumpng off the side of the pool. He also floated on his back and tired to paddle and kick. We still have 5 more classes.

new website

Im trying to get the hang of this new website...

This was the first weekend of Chris's new shift and we almost had the entire weekend together! We went to the movies with some good friends and saw Star Trek. It was pretty good and I'm not really into sci fi.

Von is getting so brave in his walking! He is going all around the couches and tables. He walks behind this walkers and gets all over the place. He is getting so big! We went to Settlers park this weekend and he got to play in the water. Pretty cute!!
