M.I.A Froggy!!!

Today Chris and Von meet me for lunch. I walked them back to the car and Chris had this look on his face. I was thinking he lost his keys!! He says to me "where is the diaper bag?" I say "sh**, we left it the cafeteria!!" I told him I would go back and look for it and just bring it home... Its not a fancy diaper bag, but it has the essentials in it. I think I only paid $5.00 for it.. Well I walk fast (I don't run) back to the cafeteria, no bag.. I look around and still no bag. I asked the lady taking out the trash where if anyone turned it in. She says no..... damn it Gina!!! I go up to security to see if it had been turned in, no.. I was going to go back to work and check security later.. I decided to go back to the cafeteria 1 last time. I'm waiting for the elevator door to open and there is a lady with our diaper bag going to security!! I was so happy!! nothing to replace, Yay!!


I packed my things up to leave work and unzipped said diaper bag... and what is there staring at me you ask!! Well its Von's beloved froggy!!!!! If you haven't heard of Froggy.... Von carries him around everywhere.. normally in him mouth!! I have bought several frog type blanket animals and he throws them aside... Nothing will do besides the frog!! Now that I know I was this close to doom...... THANK GOD I FOUND THAT $5.00 DIAPER BAG!!!!!!!!!!!

11 weeks and counting

I had a OB appointment today (me Chris and Von) and all is well!! We heard the heart beat and it sounds like a strong ticker. He said our due date is Nov 5th with a c-section date Nov 1st? I am shooting for a halloween baby!!!!! Ok ok... just a healthy baby. We have the amnio test in May and I will have tones of stress relieved then!! We will also find out what we are having then. I have also lost a total of 8 pounds... yay for me.. Now I just have to get through the sickness I have been getting!!

I guess its time

I am about to give up on the blog.. I don't think anyone reads it and really I just don't have anything to say.


But I will give it another chance.

Easter..

We went to Carol and Jerrys for some very yummy breakfast, that I re-created at a later time. We had dinner and a egg hunt at our house. Von was so cute looking for eggs.. He did get side tracked by a couple if airplanes that flew over heard. Once he found out there was candy in his eggs... he was really excited!!!


Von's' 2nd Birthday..

My mom fly in, Erik and fam drove in. We had a FULL house!!! Von was pretty excited to see his cousins and was babbling all the time! He enjoyed ripping the wrapping paper and finding the toys. The clothes he could have cared less about. He is getting so big.. I love watching him grow and learn... and I get so sad thinking he is growing up. I guess I will always remember the little man I held in my arms when he was just born, amazed by his lips, fingers, ears. Time really does fly by! Soon we will have another one that I can stare at for hours on end. I tell Von he is going to be a big brother, but he could care less!!

My birthday..

I turned the big 37!!! Im almost 40!!!! augh...... I told Chris for my bday I wanted to clean out the garage. I know weird! But we ended up with 2 car loads full of crap.. I still need to tackle the kitchen. I am sick of having so much stuff!! Do I really need 17 spatulas and 6 cookie sheets! NO I don't think so.. So get rid of it.. aaahhhh Happy Birthday to me!

And baby makes 4...

Yes that is right... a baby.. We are 7 weeks. still early, but we are very excited!! Before we found out we were pregnant, we found out that I am type 2 diabetic.. so I have made quite a few changes in my life.. all for the better Im sure. All will be well.... I have an amazing doctor and a pretty good husband that supports me and takes good care of me.


We went to WA for a long weekend, that turned out to be a very long weekend... My cousin and her family meet us in WA also. We all went to the Seattle Aquarium, which was totally cool!! The kids got to touch star fish and sea urchins. We got to see how they feed a octopus.. She was really cool! They said that they can climb right out of their habitat.. Sometimes they come in and it will be on the carpet. After a long day we went home and just hung out. We went to the outlet mall the next day and I was THIS close to getting a new Coach purse.... on clearance, plus an extra 50% off and then 20% off at the register!!!! BUT............ then came along my brother that put a guilt trip on me for spending that much money on a purse.. so no new Coach for me.. Thanks Erik!! :-) After the outlet mall, Jackson was starving so to McDonalds we went and so did the horrible food poisoning it gave me.. I don't think I have ever been that violently sick before in my life!!!!!!!! There was no way I could travel 9 hours home the next day.. So we had to stay one more night
and then drove home.

We brought home bunk beds from WA, took down Vons crib and he now sleeps in a "big boy" bed.. It is sad, cute and fun all at the same time. I took to it like a champ. So far no trying to climb out or play around. We tell him its time to go to bed and that he needs to lay down and he does it.

On top of everything thing else, Chris's employer is having them work OT like crazy!! So he works 16 hour days.. I say no thank you!!

Full of surprises

Chris surprised me yesterday by setting up our fountain in the back yard. He said Von loved to play in it. I am going to put pots around it to hid the bottom, It will be nice to have in the summer. Chris also surprised me for lunch today. We had yummy mexican food..... Chris sent me a picture of Von after they dropped me off... He was pretty tuckered out!

New members of the family

Chris and I can not keep fish alive to save our lives!!!! So out with the fish and in with red eared slider turtles. They are cute and Von loves them. They can live up to 50 years, they swim 90% of their time and bask the remaining. Last night they were playing in the waterfall (from the pump) swimming up and down against the water. We have yet to see the bask... they are shy. We are working with Von to not hit the tank and also make sure that Fido does not jump in the tank. All in all, they are fun. We went to Walmart the day before for grocery shopping. I had some change, so Von got to have a little ride.

Another week

Another week down........ We are over our sickness, hopefully Von is over his ear infection. Its Friday..... Thank God! I am trying to give up soda, I love Coke!! I make it 2 days then break down and have one. Since cold turkey wasn't working for me I switched to diet Coke, that is some nasty stuff!!! So now I get a small diet and maybe have 3 drinks out of it and then toss it. I am hoping that the diet will help me stop drinking it completely. Von is doing well, just play play play...... He loves sugar and Im pretty sure he can smell it from the next room. His 2nd birthday is coming up soon and we are planning a Yo Gabba Gabba party. My mom is coming up for his birthday and I think my brother and his family are coming also!!! OOO how I miss them all. Chris and I hoping to drive to WA in March, it will be a VERY fast trip but will worth it to see the family.
